Parties of all types at Haviland Hens Farm – Birthdays, Baby Showers, Bridal Bachelorette, Team Bonding, Family Gatherings, Tea Parties, etc.
Haviland Hens Farm is in Clarksville, MD. We are a small private farm, so you have the place to yourself when you book a party with us. We host parties where participants get to cuddle, hold, feed and interact with baby goats, lambs, chicks, bunnies, and ducklings. We have a tea party area set up for cake time. We have a great fire pit area with chairs around for making s’mores. Our tables, and picnic tables are covered with white cloth tablecloths, or you may bring your own tablecloths. We have 1 large round table that seats 6, 3 round tables that seat 4, one small table that seats 2 so the special birthday guest may have their tea party with his or her best friend. We also have 2 picnic tables that seat 8. We have several yard games, including; giant kerplunk, cornhole, jenga, plinko, ring toss, yard dice, etc. We have backdrops for photos in our animal visiting areas and a birthday chair with a backdrop.
You can choose several themes like the littlest unicorn goat, fairies, prince and princess, Alice in Wonderland, super heroes, Super Mario, Harry Potter, circus, farm, big trucks, tractors, etc. We can offer a craft that the children can make, at an additional cost.
Our parties start at $300 for up to 12 people (children and adults) for 1.5 hours. Addition costs are $15 per person beyond 12, and $60 for every half hour beyond 1.5 hours.
For children’s parties, one adult per child may attend at no additional cost.
For an additional fee of $100 we will include use of our barn loft (upstairs of the main barn) for party participants when indoor space is desired, such as to get out of unfavorable weather. The 38’x16′ space can be heated in winter and cooled in summer. We will set up tables and chairs for up to 24 people, plus extra chairs if needed.
The cost includes a mini photo session for the birthday person. Optional crafts are available at additional cost, depending on the craft you select. Let us know, and we can discuss options and prices. You can bring your own food, drinks, birthday cake, etc. We do not allow alcoholic beverages. We are a small farm and parking is limited to no more than 25 vehicles. We are open by appointment only. To check availability and to schedule your party, call Deb or David Pacheco at 443-878-6305.
